psIMALerts - Feature Summary


psIMAlerts has the following features:

·         Send plain text or rich (HTML) messages including images.

·         Build-in rich text (HTML) message templates including “Winning”, “Success” and “UpAndUp”

·         Result report list those recipients that did (online) or did not receive the alert (offline)

·         Send from any account (send from a resource account is recommended)

·         No limit to the number of recipients

·         Support for pipelining recipients

·         Set the message priority as either: Urgent, Normal, Non-urgent


psIMAlerts provides a number of very flexible options to specify recipients by supplying a single target id or by pipelining. The single target id options include the following:

1. the id of a single Active Directory account
2. the id of a single Active Directory group (all members of an group and nested groups are recipients)
3. the name of an Exchange server(accounts assigned a mailbox on the Exchange server are recipients)
4. the name of an Lync or OCS pool (accounts assigned to the pool are recipients)
